Audrey

Audrey is an artistic, creative, 10-year-old who happens to also have a diagnosis of sensory processing, auditory processing, and dyslexia. After spending two years in speech therapy and not making much progress, Samantha and Audrey joined us and made massive gains within 5 months!

Audrey went from the 3%ile to the 42%ile in her reading in this time, celebrating reading 5th grade level texts at 120 words per minute and having tons more confidence about herself with an exponentially better attitude.

Before the program:

  • Diagnosed with sensory processing disorder, auditory processing disorder, and severe double-deficit dyslexia.
  • Two years of speech therapy with little to no progress.
  • Struggled to sound out words or blend multiple sounds together.
  • Retention was nonexistent—nothing seemed to stick long-term.
  • Stuck at a 1st-grade reading level, crushed by 4th-grade academic demands.
  • Confidence and self-esteem were plummeting, leading to negative self-talk.

"She was going downhill with confidence and self-esteem. I kept thinking, ‘There has to be something else that we can do or try."

“I don’t know anything that would produce these kind of results, honestly."

After the program:

  • Gradual but undeniable progress—one day, it just clicked!
  • Her confidence soared.
  • More engaged in class, raising her hand, advocating for herself.
  • Went from struggling to spell “cut” to reading 5th-grade material at 120 WPM in just 5 months—now spelling words like “cacophony.”
  • No more regression—progress is real and lasting.
  • Eager to write her own books, embracing her artistic creativity.

Now, Audrey's reading at grade level, spelling advanced words, and saying:

Dyslexia can differ widely among children and may evolve as your child grows and learns. Early signs in preschool-aged children may involve difficulties with learning the alphabet, challenges with rhyming, and mixing up the order of numbers and letters.

As children age, they might grapple with understanding written passages, spelling words correctly, and expressing their thoughts in writing.

If your child meets any of the statements below, we recommend you screen them for dyslexia. The more statements that fit your child, the more critical it is that your child gets screened.

"We are going to invest in her regardless, so we had to decide if we were going to invest in something now to help her get results now."
